Afternoon Distraction

I needed a distraction as I was updating www.iamalibrarian.com and while adding links, I found the following distraction on Michael's page.

He had posted the following...I decided to modify it, but you get the idea...

The Last CD I Bought Was: Daft Punk's Human Afterall

Song playing right now: “Hold Me Now” by The Polyphonic Spree

Five songs I listen to a lot or that mean a lot to me: (Michael split it in two...that makes sense to me also.)

Ok...music means a lot ot me...I couldn't do just 5, so I increased it to 10.

Means a lot:
1. “Harden My Heart” by Quarterflash
2. “Portions for Foxes” by Rilo Kiley
3. “White Flag” by Dido
4. “Today” by The Smashing Pumpkins
5. “I Miss You” by Bjork
6. "Lucky" by Radiohead
7. "Home and Dry" by The Pet Shop Boys
8. "Missing" Everything But the Girl
9. "Never There" by Cake
10. "Luv" by Travis

Looking at this list, it makes me sad that ones that have more meaning are the sad songs. But you will see the ones I listen to more are quite happy or at least upbeat...go figure

Listen to a lot:
1. Wet From Birth - the whole album - by The Faint
2. "Everyday I Write the Book" Elvis Costello
3. “Beautiful” by Mandalay
4. “Man, It's So Loud in Here” by They Might Be Giants
5. "Clark Gable" by The Postal Service
6. Fancy Ultra Fresh -the whole album - by Freezepop
7. "I Don't Have the Map" by Idlewild
8. "Walking on Sunshine" Katrina and the Waves
9. “Must Be Dreaming” by Frou Frou
10."Digital Love" by Daft Punk

First concert I ever attended:Billy Joel and Elton John in 1994. I won tickets to a Prince show from a radio station in the late 80s and my mom would not let me go, cause I had to go somewhere to pick up the tickets and she couldn't take me, also the show was on a school night.
:(

Have fun getting distracted...if you feel so inclined, post your list in my comments. :)

Getting back in the game

Ok. So I haven't posted to this blog in a while. If there was anyone out there who was intrigued, I apologize. Life has been pretty crazy. Soon I will be on the road meeting lots of librarians. I am so excited. It is so difficult to try and plan with so many people involved. I hope that it will all work out well.

Aside from that I will be showing my other photography at the Koffee Korner in Media, PA on June 16th @5:30-8:30. I believe that I will be reading tarot cards there as well. Please come out and support if you can.

I promise more soon.
